ENVIRONMENT
Care for the environment is one of Clockwork’s key responsibilities and an important part of how the company performs its business operations.
Clockwork Group aims to:
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and standards and aspire to good business practice.
- Minimise the adverse effects of its operations on the environment and its neighbours.
- Monitor its environmental performance.
- Make environmental issues a part of its decision making process.The Clockwork Board regularly reviews and monitors Clockwork’s environmental performance; it endorses the environmental policy statement and is fully committed to its implementation.
In addition, Clockwork has invested in modern vehicles that have set new standards in environmental performance. The new vehicles owned by Clockwork are quieter, more fuel-efficient and have lower emissions than older vehicles and comply with the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) across London. Clockwork Removals also take part in a tree planting initiative to offset carbon for every container they ship internationally.

SAFETY
Clockwork Group is committed to being a safe operator and employer, attaching major importance to the health, safety and welfare of the its employees, wherever they are required to perform their duties and conducting its operations in a safe manner. This also applies to contractors used by Clockwork, staff employed by customers who interact with Clockwork services and other persons who may be affected by the activities undertaken by Clockwork.Clockwork has an established a set of rules and standards to ensure the safety of its operations. These rules and standards are continually assessed in order to seek continuous improvement. In enacting these rules and standards, Clockwork requires its employees to comply with these safety rules. This compliance is not an option and 100% rule compliance is mandatory.
Each year, Clockwork sets itself tough targets to improve safety performance. These provide the company with a clear means of tracking performance and provide information to further improve safety performance.
